# 10x Solo Community Terms & Code of Conduct

10x Solo is a private community for full-time B2B solos, fractionals, and micro-agency owners. It runs on three things: connection, learning, and referrals. These terms keep the room high-signal and spell out what you're agreeing to when you join. By joining, you confirm you meet the criteria below and agree to follow these terms and the code of conduct.

#### 1. Who can join

Membership is for people who can honestly say yes to all five:

1. You run a B2B service business full-time (consultant, fractional, advisor, coach, or boutique agency owner).
2. You have at least one paying client.
3. You're building this full-time, not on the side or between jobs.
4. You're building a lean business, not a big agency. (Co-founders and contractors are fine. Most members have no more than one or two full-time employees and don't plan to build a large team.)
5. You're here to help, not to pitch or sell to other members.

Joining under false pretenses (saying yes when it isn't true) is itself a violation of these terms.

#### 2. What your membership includes

- Access to the private community (currently hosted in Slack) and its channels.
- Weekly workshops and discussions, live and recorded on demand.
- The member directory and referral relationships.
- Member-only discounts and resources.

Membership gives you access and a group full of peers. It doesn't promise clients, referrals, revenue, or any specific outcome. What you get out of it grows the more you show up. We may change the platform, channels, events, and perks as the community evolves.

#### 3. Code of conduct

This is the heart of it. We protect the signal so the group stays worth showing up for.

- Protect the signal. Keep conversations focused, respectful, and practical. No noise, no hype.
- No pitching members. Don't pitch or sell your services to other members in channels, DMs, or on calls. The one exception is the designated promotion channel. Referrals happen naturally because members serve similar clients, so lead with help, not a sales pitch.
- Lead with help. Be honest and constructive. Share what's working and what isn't.
- Treat people well. No harassment, discrimination, hate, or personal attacks.
- Keep it in the room. What members share here stays here. Don't screenshot or repost private discussions outside the community without permission.
- Protect member data. The directory and member information stay inside the community. Downloading the directory for your own use is fine, but no scraping or external sharing, and no adding members to outside email lists or cold outreach without their ok.
- Be who you say you are. Represent yourself and your business honestly.
- No spam. No bulk or automated DMs, and no recruiting members into unrelated schemes.
- One person, one seat. Your membership is yours. Don't share access with non-members or hand your seat to someone else.
- Follow the platform's rules (Slack's today) on top of these.

#### 4. Removal and refunds

We may remove any member who breaks these terms or acts in a way that harms the community. For serious violations we may remove someone immediately. For smaller ones we may give a heads-up first. That call is ours to make.

Things that can get you removed include joining under false pretenses, pitching or selling to members outside the promotion channel, harassment, sharing or scraping member data, and repeated disruption.

If you're removed for a violation, your membership ends right away and no refund is owed, including no refund for the unused part of your term.

This is separate from our good-faith guarantee for new members: show up for 30 days, post an ask, join a call, and if it's still not for you, we'll refund you, no hard feelings. That guarantee is for members leaving in good faith, not for removal after a violation.

#### 5. Payment and renewal

- Membership is billed annually at the rate shown when you join, or your locked-in rate if you joined at an earlier price.
- Rate locked for life. If the price goes up later, yours doesn't.
- 30-day action-taker guarantee as described above.
- Your membership renews automatically each year at your rate. You can cancel anytime before your renewal date to stop the next charge, through [your billing portal](https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/00w6oHf4afjJ7Ed5rGaR200).
- If you cancel, you keep access through the end of the term you've paid for. Outside the 30-day window, we don't refund the unused part of a term.

#### 6. Your content and the community's materials

- You own what you post. By posting, you let other members learn from and reference it inside the community.
- Community materials (recordings, docs, templates, the directory, discounts) are for your own use as a member. Don't resell, republish, or share them outside the community.

#### 7. Peer advice, not professional advice

10x Solo is peer connection, learning, and referrals. Nothing shared here by me, members, or guests is professional, legal, financial, or business advice you should rely on without your own judgment. Members share opinions and experience, and you act on them at your own risk. Referrals and deals between members are between those members. 10x Solo isn't a party to them and isn't responsible for how they turn out.

#### 8. Changes to these terms

The community and these terms can change as 10x Solo grows (platform, channels, events, perks, and pricing for new members). We'll communicate material changes. Staying in the community after a change means you accept the updated terms.

#### 9. The basics

The community is provided "as is," without guarantees of specific results. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid for your current membership term.

10x Solo is operated by Prelude Marketing Consulting LLC (DBA 10x Solo). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

Questions about these terms? Email Garrett at garrett@10xsolo.com.

**By joining 10x Solo, you confirm you meet the criteria in Section 1 and agree to these terms and the code of conduct.**
